Had a long and interesting conversation with mom tonight.  Anyone who has ever talked to my mom knows that they she and my father are interesting and informative.  It must be a different phenomenon for people whose parents are as young as mine (46 and 48) as they don't have some of the same standard values as other parents that I know who are a good decade earlier.  I guess I'm just looking for a shout out for anyone who has been touched by the Jefferies Philanthropic Society that has touched so many people now that they have the means to do so.  I'm glad I am as close and loving towards them as they are towards me.  We have an equal and profitable agreement where my perspective is exchanged for theirs.  They prepare me for adulthood (emphasis on child rearing ((which I totally intend to do)) ) alongside my totally different but informed perspective on younger, liberal, gay sensitive perspective.  We meet in an area which transgresses all of those distinctions and agree on basic sensibilities.  I love my parents very much.
