BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) -- Former U.S. Rep. Gerry Studds, the first openly gay person elected to Congress, died early Saturday at Boston Medical Center, several days after he collapsed while walking his dog, his husband said.
First time I actually have seen that posted on CNN.com or any news for that matter that isn't gay themed and not so unofficial. CNN(Associated Press's) wording is actually using the correct wording that would apply in Masschusetts with gay marriage being legal, so Husband/Husband and Wife/Wife would be appropriate. Any other state though they would use domestic partner, partner, etc. I guess that's kinda cool. His HUSBAND.. Wow...
