Lisa Jane Smith!!!
It's real! It's finally happening. My L.J. Smith fandom is reaching a crest after about 10yrs of waiting! The Vampire Diaries will be a fall drama on the CW. I suppose they're riding on the Twilight Saga wave, but still...it's a step in the right direction.
I really need to get my hands on the following books:
The Return: Nightfall
The Return: Shadow Souls
The Return: Midnight
So the 4-part series is now a 7-part series. Fantastic. Poor L.J. Smith all holed up in her house churning out these books. Doesn't she like live in Marin? I need to rebuild my Night World collection. anitapam still has a few of my books at her place, I think.
The best best best part of it all is that Ian Somerhalder will play Damon Salvatore. Wow. He's gotten old and lost his waifishness though haha pun. According to imdb, he bulked up to get more leading roles. =/ And Paul Wasilewski Wesley as Stefan isn't bad either, but wth is he blond? He was also a werewolf in Wolflake. And wasn't Elena blond? She's not supposed to be a Kristen Stewart double. I'm guessing they're Twilight-ifying it. T_T I never really liked Smith's golden boys; maybe cuz they don't need redemption.
I just saw a preview for it, and got excited. Please excuse me. Buffy was too ahead of her time.
