14 Years
Happy 14th Kidney Anniverary!!!
Thanks to all the wonderful people who saved my life, especially my mom who gave me a second chance. Words cannot express how grateful I am to the people who made a huge positive impact on my life. Today marks a special milestone as I was 14 when I received my new kidney. It is hard to believe that my transplanted kidney has outlived my native kidneys. TIme flies; while there have been numerous challenges with living with renal failure, I am so grateful to still be here. Life is wonderful, even on bad days. I have met some amazing people on LJ and I greatly appreciate your friendship.
