Yesterday had to be the epitomy of what summer should be. Sarah, Ryan, Andrew and myself went to SLC and hung out in Sugarhouse for awhile. We found some kickass stuff in Pibb's...Andrew got the coolest pants ever (3 pairs!) and then we spent about an hour in Orion's music, listening to all of the CD's Ryan scavaged for us (thanks ryan). I ended up buying a Hayden CD and Sarah got an Owen CD...and then Ryan brought over a stack of cd's and I burned them onto my latop. I haven't really had time to digest it all, but so far it's really good.
Then we went to Noodles company. hahaha..."ryan you can have some of my dish"..."NO NO, THAT'S OKAY!" lol...the look on sarah's face...
I found an RX bandits shirt at Pibb's. It's cool. Sarah got awesome pants and a Rufio shirt that's SIGNED. Sorry, my day yesterday was just fun, and I can't get over it. Andrew and I had a good discussion about religion and politics.
Oh! I almost forgot! In sugarhouse there's this store called "FREE SPEECH ZONE" and it's all peace signs and led zeppelin and rock against Bush type stuff...I bought some stickers and some pins, which reminds me that I found a cool bright eyes one at Orion's music. And this peace sign sticker to put on my longboard.
After Mass this morning at the catholic church on 25th sarah and I looked at longboards.....sarrrah....you know you want it...mmm hm....ahh! I am so excited! We can get battle wounds together!! That church is so cool.
Oh yeah, we briefed the Episcapalean (how the hell do you spell that?) church. We came in, sat down in the back, and after the creepy guy started helping us, we BOOKED it out of there. I mean, booked it. The service just was weird...we were there for about two minutes, no shit.
So I took Tim out today and we crashed a few times. For those of you who don't know Tim, he's named after Tim Kasher and he crashes into my neighbors flower beds. Today I was trying to learn how to spin out and i lost my balance...and we crashed...and I re-skinned my hands...but it was cool...even though my neck hurts.
My new work is great. It's great to be lifeguarding again, I love it. And some of the people seem pretty cool. I get to work with Sarah. And get somewhat tan. WOOh.
Orientation tomorrow...yesss....this is a large journal entry.
