Powers
Nick has the power to induce random events. Most of these events are the sort that keep him alive and often make his life harder at the same time. He doesn't have any control over this gift at this point, but it's the kind of thing that makes certain people sit up and take notice.
Permissions
OOC:
Backtagging: For the most part yes. If I get overwhelmed with threads or Nick's gone through major changes since it started, though, I'll probably drop it.
Threadhopping: Again, for the most part yes.
Fourthwalling/canon puncture: Fourthwalling only if your character is the type to do it normally. Nick doesn't come from any particular canon, so there's really no canon to puncture.
Offensive subjects: ICly, go nuts. OOCly, I'll call you on it if you offend me.
Other: As far as those who can sense power are concerned, Nick is lit up like a big Christmas tree and anyone can sense it. The particular source of his power is more vague.
IC:
Hugging: Go for it. He's friendly, he'll probably hug back.
Kissing: Yes, although this one he might be surprised by.
Flirting: Absolutely.
Fighting: You can, but I don't advise it. If you're likely to actually hurt him, his power will kick in and something will conspire to make your character lose the fight. Like a tree suddenly falling on them.
Injuring: If you can manage it, and it's nothing permanent, yes.
Killing: No.
Mind-reading: Yes.
Mind-altering: Like physical fighting, if it's likely to hurt him something will probably stop your character from managing it. If not, go ahead.
