I was all kinds of shame about cheating on the diet a bit and dreaded getting on the scale today, but, uh...
despite eating bad things and no actual exercise (none of the type where you can say 'yep, right now I am working out' anyway) for the past couple days, the number has still gone down. by like two pounds since the last weigh.
optimism!
(granted, I forgot to weigh myself yesterday, so it's possible I made like super progress and then undid a little of it, still coming out a little ahead. perhaps I should go with that mindset so I don't get lazy. I dunno.)
