even on the internet, public image is paramount
I'm taking an online course and part of our grade is based on posting on a Discussion Board. It's pretty much the same as any other internet forum: people start threads and then other people reply to them. I've noticed that the Professor teaching the class has made many replies to threads asking provoking questions and NO ONE has responded to any of them. My heart aches for people who try to get others involved and it just fails...I want to respond to everything question he has asked, but I fear the wrath of my fellow students (TEACHER'S PET TEACHER'S PET) so I limited my responses to two. Also some of the things my fellow students have posted have made me think "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? CAN YOU NOT READ?!?!" but I guess that's why you should get a C in a class instead of a C minus so you don't have to take it again.
