In order for the University to process my paperwork I had to get rid of my bursar holds, which involved me paying largely unnecessary amounts of money. Namely, three hundred dollars for a loan on which payment had been deferred til April of '06.
Then, this morning I found out the rascals at
A Lesson Is Learned But The Damage Is Irreversible will no longer be selling older posters of their glorious comics starting in two weeks.
So obviously I had to spend 28 of the forty dollars left in my bank account to buy a poster of "
Now We Are Poor Again!." I found the act painfully ironic in of itself.
My bank account will look back on this and laugh.
In other news, I was watching Nip/Tuck, and I saw an advertisement for
The Carver's MySpace. Everyone really does have a MySpace. First, weird cable guys. Now, fictional serial mutilators.
What's next? Bears?
Honestly, MySpace. You are a scourge on humanity.
EDIT: Also, I bought the Firefly DVD, and it's amazing. Another sad victim in Fox's war on quality television. I wonder how they feel about canceling a show that was better than Star Trek?
