I sincerely want to trade in my car for a Vespa. Unfortunately, I think my car may actually be worth quite a bit less than one in it's current state. My mechanic told me over the phone today to cross my fingers and hope for a grand if I sell it.
This is too bad, as I was hoping for a good three g's. I guess I forgot about the fact that it barely starts, the power steering is going, the paint job looks like shit, one of the fenders was never painted, my left rear door was bashed in by a drunken Jonas three years ago, the weather stripping is gone, two of the tires are stripped, one of the wheels needs rea-aligned and the air conditioning needs re-charged. I think I sometimes confuse material worth with personal worth.
Balls. I'd say one g on the car if I'm very lucky. Unfortunately, the scooters of my dreams cost around two. I guess I'll be riding my bike alot in SF. Those hills....are...so...ENNUMERABLE.
