86 days ago I touched down at 9:34a.m. PST at LAX.

I remember the night before I couldn't sleep, call it nerves, call it excitement, I chalked it up to the anticipation of actually living in Los Angeles. The place I fell in love with nine months before. The place that brought back years of memories, hundreds of dollars of debt, and over 350 pictures. The smog and cool nights I loved so much. "Hoodie" weather, as I came to call it (and quickly made fun of).

That first night I was up for 26 hours straight. In that day I met the kids that I ended up hanging out with all summer. The kids that led me to rack up over 3,000 miles in my mom's car. Trips to Lancaster, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Venice, Anaheim, and everywhere in between. I've been to more shows in these three months than I have been in a year. I've seen plays, tv show tapings, and got to be in a music video by one of my favorite bands. I've been to the Chain Reaction, Avalon Ballroom, Henry Fonda/ Music Box... all these venues I've read about and seen on DVDs and TV. I went to the Laugh Factory like it was church, and saw Dane Cook more than most people should. I spent days in the warehouse with no A/C when the temperatures hit triple digits. I've cracked my jaw, got a forearm to the back, and had a mustache for a day. I've seen celebrities and met some amazing people. I've had a years' worth of memories, but in two days, sadly that's all they will be.

I'm gonna miss CA...
