Oh sweet time away from work!
I managed to beg and was allowed to take Friday and today off of work. It has been wonderful being on my own schedule. I painted the upstairs bathroom on Saturday. Whoo hoo! No more two toned peach and butterfly border. I picked a color called Warm Fog, which basically means "Fancy white". It has a bit of a pinkish undertone, so it is very warm and looks really good with the tile floor. Which by the way I totally scrubbed, along with putting up new curtain rods for the window and shower curtain. I really love having time to work on the house. I also threw out two garbage bags of random stuff from my office. It is amazing how much paper I collected while I was in school.
I talked to Ryan Hollingsworth last night. He and Jas are having a baby girl. She is due on Dec. 16. He is really cute talking about the whole thing.
Finally, I am taking the dogs to Mama Denise's today to get baths and a haircut (Cosmo). I am sure there will be much discussion about the upcoming wedding. Denise sounded a bit stressed when I talked to her the other day to schedule the dogs' appointment. I told her I will be glad to help organize some of this last minute stuff, because this was the point in my wedding planning that I started to run out of gas and just want the damned wedding to happen.
Anyway, D.A. is playing in softball tourney all week, so I am wondering how everyone feels about having a Ladie's Night at my place Friday or Saturday. Let me know which, if either, day works. I figure we could have dinner here at the house (I'll cook) and just chill out and catch up on life, without the boys.
