(no subject)
Sooo, a few people on my flist have been posting about ACEN and now I find myself really wanting to go o_O. I've never been to one, mainly because I never want to take off work, save money for the trip, make time for making the costume blahblah...but now I do :D! I am trying to recruit Dan, Beef, and Bethani to come with me. My going kind of depends on their attendance actually ToT. I wish my friends liked anime more :P! Not that I'm an "Otaku" lolol but I do appreciate a few. In fact I'm feeling so into it right now I'm trying to download Neon Genesis Evangelion and Card Captor Sakura <3.
I am seriously stuck on which character to cosplay. I want to pick one that suits me, that I would be able to do pretty well (aka no Riku midriff-bearing shit -.- ahah). So if you have a suggestion or a vote on any of these, do let me know ; ;! Here are some I'm considering (sorry for the huge pictures!):
Sailor Iron Mouse from Sailor Moon. Cute and probably really easy to make, but I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable in it :3. Sailor Moon is one of my favorites, but I don't think I could pull off any of the other characters.
Fuu from Magic Knight Rayearth. This one would probably be easy too, since I already have short blonde hair and glasses :P Not my favorite anime though, I thought it was just okay. And this cosplay might be kinda boring o_O?
Miwako from Paradise Kiss. This one = expensive. I'd have to get a petticoat and probably some sort of lolita outfit, plus this wig is rather specific...she's one of my favorite characters of all time though ; ;
I might add to this later, but that's all I can come up with right now D:!
