Just a thought...or two.

Now wouldn't it be nice..

..to dance with someone like this? Or to just simply sway with someone close to your heart? Who cares if he can't dance? If he has two left feet?

After reading Catsky's entry on her TNT experience and with OrSem hype slowly dying down, no matter how much we deny it, I wake up to the reality called my senior year.

I remember my OrSem and how much I hated the whole experience. Primarily because the person who promised to be around during the event wasn't... due to uncontrollable circumstances which happen to be completely forgivable. Then I had made this prediction about my block, about at least one of the guys being gay. Funny thing was, the only gay blockmate present at that time, Marc, became my very first OrSem friend. And what made things even funnier was that we lived five minutes away from each other! Then Marc introduced me to Jesse, who happens to be one of my cousin's very good friend. Plus, there's Baba, whom I have known since time immemorial. I remember one of the very firsts conversations I've had with Kamyl (Kam: Do you accessories? -while looking at my bracelets-) and buying at Beba's humor (Introduction of self using an adjective that starts with the same letter as your name. Baptized Beba, lezgo!). Cat and I started hanging out during the second day. She happens to have a cousin who studies at Holy..and I could go on and on. Come to think of it, my OrSem wasn't that bad. Although it could've been better, y'know.

It's nice to dig up memories. It's even better to dig up photos from way back, right Catsky?

Before college stress really hit us.

Life was so much simpler as a freshman.

As I have written in my multiply, participating in SoundCheck was the best way to start the school year. Getting lost in the hype and living on each others' energies to give the freshmen the kind of welcoming they deserved. So what if I had to run to and from Gonzaga to the covcourts (and at a time to Irwin Theatre and then to Gonzaga again) almost every other hour or two and then going back to the studio to practice for the OrSem night performance? (I clearly remember waking up one day and noticing how pale I looked).

This is how we are in the morning. Retarded. Haha

CADs says "Goodbye Soundcheck. Hello new school year"
No regrets. The effort was worth it. The involvement was worth it. I didn't want to miss out on the last OrSem that I can be directly be part of. I didn't want to miss out on any possible opportunity anymore regardless of the risks and the sacrifices that I had to make.

"The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, is nothing"

I sure am glad that I didn't back out of this one.
