"Why are you reading the National Enquirer?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, a guy like you should be reading the Times or something."
"I read the Times for dinner. But this. This is my desert."
So today was really good...at the start. I had a lot of fun in the morning coming up with a funny pick up line: "You can swirl the water in my bottle anytime." That was fun, especially testing it out on Jen, Chantal, Gabby, and Sophie. It was really funny, but hard to say because I was laughing so much. But, at the end of the day I had this State Math Meet meeting at school. There was this dilema, eleven kids were there, but only ten could go. We had the right amount of underclassmen, and the perfect amount of seniors, so we had to lose a junior. I looked around the room and figured that no one wanted to step down, but I really didn't want to take the time to go through some tests, so I took the first opportunity I got to speak up. I said that I'd take the hit for the team and sit this one out. I was kind of crushed about it, I really wanted to go, but I did what I did. I hate when I do that, but there is a part of me that likes to give people some chances. To give up some things every now and then to help people, at least they may get some happiness out of it in the end. Whatever. At least I got my family. Thanks for being there guys, I love you a whole lot. You make me happy, no matter what the circumstances. Well, tomorrow's another day, I hope its a good one. It is St. Patrick's Day after all.
