Saw I am the Speed of Light at the Lodge on Saturday and I was quite blown away. I play with Kevin and Jeff in Gravity so I'm pretty familiar with how great they play together. What really impressed me besides the performance and the material was their chemistry. You couldn't help but notice how much fun they were having. I wish I made it to the other show that night. I was so tired I couldn't get off the couch until almost 8 pm. That was the highlight of my night. The low-point was me saying something that ended up hurting a good friend's feelings. It was meant as a "ha ha funny funny" comment and it turned into a hurtful dig. I still feel like a total ass. I apologized via text message after she sent me one letting me know that she wasn't real happy with what I said. I sent another message today and I haven't heard anything back. I guess I'm going to have to 'man up' and call her tomorrow. Damn dark beer.
