Taken at 7:30 am this morning.

Yesterday was much much greyer. It rained off and on throughout the day, and we were really quiet at work.

The other day I went to lunch with my good friend, Melissa (to see some fun videos starring her - http://www.expertvillage.com/videos/cruise-ship-travel-pack-one.htm or her website - http://www.ms2productions.ca/), she's a very cool lady. ;) We had a light lunch and I had a long island iced tea, before she had to dash off to her next appointment (believe me, I feel lucky I can get her to sit still for that long!). Having just finished a long island iced tea, I was not in any condition to drive. So, feeling only slightly paranoid, I browsed Stratford. And by browse, I mean I spent an hour in the bookstore. Got four books for 4.20! Yay me!

I don't think I really need too much help being idle, but...

This guy made millions in advertising, so I guess he would know. ;)

"How to avoid making art" - it's so cute. From Julia Cameron (illustrations provided by her sister, Elizabeth), the writer of "The Artist's Way".

"How to eat like a tree" It actually looks more like a philiosophy book than a diet-y book. We'll see. It's not at the top of my reading list, but I'll get there...

Crap, I have to get ready for work!

books, photos, feeding the artist
