The woods are pretty awesome, except I'm kind of over it now. Uh, so, there's some boy scout green living hiker hippie way to tell which direction is north, right? Because I've been out here for like four hours and I'm totally doing a Blair Witch, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get mauled by a bear or a mansquito or something.
Well, it wasn't a very good rendition of the Mothman myths, but yeah, that was the basic idea.

In the 1960's in West Virginia, a number of people reported seeing the "Mothman". He was usually described as being very large and as having black wings and no head, but large reflective eyes in its chest.

Several sightings were reported by reputable townsfolk in multiple adjacent towns. People who didn't know each other or hear the other reports before saying the exact same thing.

Maybe because he's MOVED.

Yeah. It's possible that he went into hiding somewhere. Maybe in the swamps in the South or the Rockies. Even the Appalachians a bit upstate would offer ample protection for him. Caves and stuff.
