These Precious Moments
It's easy to feel at home here in Amsterdam. I can recall with great clarity the first time I visited this wonderful city. Michelle and I were celebrating my birthday and we had tickets to see Mogwai perform at the famous Melkweg. The city instantly enchanted us and even then I knew that I would return.
Many years have passed and I have been back 5 times. Each time no less amazing. The people with their laid back and friendly attitudes. The delicious food and it's wide variety and abundance. The coffee shops and their unique ambiances. All of this against a beautiful backdrop of buildings, canals, pathways, parks, and a never ending assortment of bikes.
The architecture of matter and mind that is this city has won my heart and I am grateful for it.
