let's play some checkers!
it's not a complicated game but
let's not pay attention
the light filtering through the trees
is tanning out your freckles
my dude is on your side now

let's go for a walk!
foot over foot is a good way to do it
the wind is blowing through your hair
and the sun is tanning out your freckles
we could stop to take a picture by this tree
but that's not what i'll remember about today

everybody everywhere
is facing the sky and saying
thank you dude
today has been pretty good
these sunglasses are tinted brown
and it makes things look way more colorful
how come that is?

let's make some lemonade!
it tastes better if you squeeze it yourself
but it is gross to know how much sugar goes into it
this makes me want to go brush my teeth
but it's so nice outside!
let's just sit here a little longer and breathe deep

let's play some ball!
man that smell of leather in the glove and the ball is real good
it makes me think of my childhood
the same is not true of everyone but i am enjoying it
let's go get to a park and hit some balls
there is a diamond at our old elementary school
are we allowed to go there?
