Holidays
Holidays are abt the most boring time for me...yes, boring. The reason being; my days are just unfilled. It's been abt a wk since i got back, n apart for some chauffering n goin out to eat, i hvn't really done anything productive. My mind rebels at this stagnancy. Ok, so i admit, i'm a workaholic...but as an asian, growing up under competitive environments (i.e. SJ), it's hardly unexpected isn't it? the desire to always work n work has been ingrained in us since we're kiddies in school. i need to learn how to chillax. haha. i wonder if they do short courses for tht. wouldn't mind going. =)
On a tech-trip currently...virtually of coz. Kinda attracted by all the smartphones available for sale. Speaking of which, kill me now, but i guess i'm one of the few ppl in this world who's not a big big fan of the apple iphone 4G. Haha. Nvr did like apple prods. Rite now, the two main competitors in my world are Nokia n HTC. One of 'em goin bust i heard so tht leaves the other, but i'm still shopping around for potential replacements. A tablet PC would've been more of a wow-ser, but unfortunately, it's practicality is way limited for me. So yea, not a tablet, but something slimmer, smaller n more functional.
The main prob i hve to gettin this smartphone thingy is my N95. It's only abt a yr old (in my possession) n thus by definition, has not outlived it's value yet. Hving two phones is a chic idea, esp now in the age where comms are really important n carrying two phones is norm...but i'd hve trouble stashing it abt my body, esp if it's as bulky as the N95. Tht's the only thing i dun really like bout Nokias...some of their phones are damn big. But i'm lookin into a cpla models, like the N97, the N900 n the upcoming N8. Of the 3, the N97 n N8 looks coolest. The N900, i'm reserving my judgment 'til i get more details on it. The specs listed on the official Nokia website isn't comprehensive, with potential for misleading info. My mum told me to get a BB...i told her the operating cost was way ridiculous. Haha. I'm a poor student, not a businessman.
Considering music lessons...altho this time i'm gonna give a try in 2 diff instruments; keyboard n guitar. =). The guitar was mum's idea. She said it'll be easier for u to learn simply b'cos it's practising on it is easier. Yea, rite. Tho filled wid disbelief, i still decided to give it a try if opportunity presents itself. See how things goes la. Plannin to do some short courses also. But tht one's abit sketchy at the current moment. Hving said all tht tho...i dun really mind if ntg comes to fruition. Hehe.
