Orientation Week n first day of classes
UCD had it's orientation week last week. It was a grand event, similar to those before it. Only difference is, this time, i'm one of the orientation guides, bringing the msian juniors about. Although tiring, the whole event was pretty fun. In a way, i guess i saw how i was like bck when i first set foot in dublin. =)
Classes started today. No briefing, no honeymoon week...lecturers went full swing into their respective modules, with enthusiasm. haha. Funny how things're like once u get higher n higher in uni. Still managed to fall asleep in class tho >.< A habit i need to cure.
Coming back to Dublin, i'm faced with an eternal problem; frens. I dunno wat's wrong wif the ppl here, but i guess despite past experiences, it's still pretty hard to get used to these kinda breed of ppl, the kind who're racially skewed n divided. Back home, ppl're talkin bout unity n all sort n here? Haih. Well, i've gone n done my best...basically i'm at the point where i'll just let things be n see where they go from there. Can't be bothered, dun wanna be bothered. I'm not really hard up for frens after all. I've got better frens elsewhere. They may not be here...but i'm content knowing tht they're somewhere else in this world.
