He's wary about her intentions with the extra Pokegear, and the flirting caught him out of nowhere, but he doesn't feel any ill will towards her. In fact, he's glad to have some help in his rocket shenanigans. He's already able to tell this is a woman with some experience ahead of her, and although he doesn't want to rely on others, he knows he can on her, if push comes to shove. Its only in the beginning stages, so there's probably more awkwardness to come out of this 'relationship.'
