[The SFC comes on and you get a picture of the smallest, most deadly serious ten-year-old with a mess of black hair and large ears you have ever seen.]
Excuse me. [His voice is polite but strained, and he's pretty clearly trying not to sound frightened.] Can someone tell me where I am, please?

Can you see anything you recognize?

I just woke up in this gross house, and I don't see anything I know out the window.

[That sounds kind of familiar. Kind of like the house he is standing out in front right now.]
Does it look really broken down and messy?

Do you want me to meet you? You are... pretty young.

Okay, not that young. What is your name?

Sou. ...what's yours?

Would you like me to come pick you up? I'm really close to where you are.

[Turning off the SFC --what a weird thing-- before slowly turning around to get back into the broken down house, making sure to move slowly and with plenty of noise so he won't scare Sou as he moves up the stairs.]
Sou-kun?

[He jumps up and runs to the stairs to meet him.]
Here! [Skids just sort of flinging himself at him and composes himself a little, looking serious again.] Thank you.

[It is not that he is crap with kids! He's just crap with people. In general. Awkward.]
Right. Apart from being lost, are you okay, Sou-kun?

[Looking at Kageyama's face, his eyes narrowed in suspicion of this adult who apparently doesn't know what to do either.] ...do you know where we are, Kageyama-san?

But I am sure that together we could find someone who does.

Where are we going now, then? Should we look around here more, first?
