plus a bonus: I'm going back to Buenos Aires tomorrow!
I got an A/A- (not quite sure how it's going to translate) on my trombone exam today, which is great. I am so happy to be free of academic obligations! Also, I found out that my monday performance was cancelled and so I found a pretty cheap ticket to Buenos Aires to go hang with Santiago and Joaquin again. This time, I'm bringing my computer to copy music from/for them. Awesome.
Then I'll get back, pack up what's left in my room, and pick up my family at the airport and start my vacation with them in a Santiago hotel. Sounds good.
In other news, I got offered that internship with the US Embassy here for the summer. I am pretty sure that I'm going to turn it down, however. I think it would be a better thing to do in maybe a year or after I graduate. I just don't think I can convince myself to come back so quickly after such an exhausting (not to mention highly awesome) five months here. I think I need some more time to settle back in the States and find a new balance with music. Although who knows maybe tomorrow I will change my mind. I've been back and forth all day about it.
Oh man it feels so good to be finished. Time to get some sleep so I can pack my bags and head out of here tomorrow!
