[And Rei is coming up at a jog. A rather swift jog, mind you, but a jog all the same. She takes in the scene with a sweep, crossing her arms with quirked eyebrows at the unconscious moose and Mako with an Usagi hanging off of her.]

[Forgive the seriousness, Mako, Rei really is happy to see you. But she has a lot on her mind and a lot of things are about to fall into place... and Mako's arrival only seals her resolve about a certain issue.]
It's a world created by spirits here, the Animus. We're pulled from our worlds and dropped into this one. Back home, time stops, and when we're sent home, we're sent back to the exact moment we left, with no memory of this place at all. No one misses us, we don't miss being gone. We're just... stuck, for as long as we're here. I've been here since the middle of July. It's almost the middle of October now.
