one good book
yep so this entry is going to be pointless rambling about a book, my first leisure book to have read in about 3 years or something, and i liked i a lot. Ms. D kept on telling me to read Kite Runner, and i finally did, and it was amazing and eyeopening. It shows you a bit about life in Afghanistan, not just the bombings and recent stuff, but really the childhood of a kid growing up there. The book was not a social commentary on Afghanistan though, really it was about living life without regrets, and the way that guilt can seriously catch up to you. Honestly i hate regretting things and wishing i had taken full advantage of the opportunities presented to me, so i really hope i will live a life without too much regret and not become caught up with things in the past. Yeah so back to the book, i suck at summarizing, but i just really liked it, and boy did i cry a lot. the end :P
