Nothing that eventful has happened, I just thought it was time for an update. Since, like, two days ago. Yesterday nothing happened. Today nothing happened either other than that I worked out at the JCC and then sat in the car while my dad went to the library. He commented on how bad and "off-color" I look and I told him about how other people have been saying that too. He yelled at me later because it took me approximately ten seconds to start setting the table instead of doing it at the exact second when he finished asking me. He's watching this boring black-and-white movie about the Six Day War and I asked him to go downstairs and he yelled at me and said no. I told him to cool it and he said no because I'd asked him multiple times. I rolled my eyes.
During dinner, I commented to my mom about how the author of the book she'd read and then passed to me was Jewish (it talks about them sitting shiva) and she was like "Yeah, I know." My dad asked what it was about and my mom said, "It's about people who had mothers like my mother....and other people who have other relatives like that." We caught each others eyes and snickered a little.
I decided that I'm going to put a quote from Daria in each one of these. That show kicked ass while it was still on, and the MTV people were idiots to take it off the air. I enjoy the quotes, and maybe they can give the rest of you a laugh too. They will be placed at the end of each entry, unless there's a good reason to put them somewhere else or to leave them out entirely.
