I decided that from now on I'm going to be grammatically and otherwise correct in my LiveJournal and other such chronicles of my life. It's cooler.
So have any of you ever read entries on Ubersite from this guy named Jared? His name thing is JMG114. Basically, they're hilarious. Emilie and I were talking about him earlier and she said, "Oh my gosh! He's on! IM him!!" So I did. I told him who i was and that I was a fan, and we commenced to have two half-hour or so conversations, broken up by my dinner in the middle. It was funny. He kept commenting on how "bright" I and seriously asked me if I'd skipped three or four grades. The answer was no. He was weirded out by talking to a 14-year-old freshman in high school and I'm not sure if I'll ever talk to him again or not. I sincerely hope I do. His stories are CRAAAAAAAAAAAAZY! And he told me to register on Ubersite only not to say my age. So I did. My username there is Deb625. Aren't I creative.
My day was fairly average in the way that MIHS is average, as in you think it's average and then you realize it was really really fun. As usual. I had Block Image this morning, and for once it wasn't boring to the point of torture. It was about dating violence and Lauren Smith and this other girl and some guy were the people presenting it. It was pretty interesting but also kind of a downer. It happens a lot. Since Mrs. Liranzo doesn't let us leave to use the bathroom (bitch!) I was also dying during maybe the last 45 minutes of the period. So I had to run to the bathroom and pee before Math. That was nice. So then in Math Ms. Edwards said she was disappointed with our 6.1-6.3 quiz scores and that the class was going to have to do quiz corrections tomorrow. Only, fuck that. I checked my score online when I got home and I got a 14/15. So suck it, Ms. Edwards.
At lunch, I ate quickly and by myself. For the remainder of the period, I went and sat on the floor in the 100 hall and read The Power of One, which I like a lot. I burped once while I was there and there was only one guy who was walking down the hall but I didn't say "Excuse me" because who says "Excuse me" to one person who they don't even know?
Block Science, which is usually the second-worst two hours of the whole week (first-worst is Block Spanish on Thursdays), was really fun today! Ms. Golden just kind of talked about equilibriums for the first half hour of the period but then she had us do this activity with beans. I was in a group with Moshe and Erik Adams. We had to have two people with separate amounts of beans and they each represented either the reactants or the product in a reaction and we had to keep giving each other different amounts of beans until the amounts were the same and we had reached equilibrium. I know it doesn't make any sense here but it made sense in class. I promise. And also it was really fun.
After school I walked Moshe to the library. I coughed a lot. At about 5:30 I took some cough syrup. It helped a little. I think I'll take some more.
