more boring stuff
I just got back from indoor netty. It was the first game of the season and we came away with a nice win! So our team is officially undefeated in this comp!
Today was Monday and it was a shit of a day. Actually it wasn't that bad. But I did have to work. If you take work out of the equation, I have a pretty cruisy life of late. The rest of my weekend was a gooden. On Saturday night Ami and Nads came round and we went and got some DVDs. I confused the poor kid that served me and I ended up walking away with three new releases for $1.70! I felt bad for a bit, but Video Ezy are such a rip off anyway, I'm sure they'll get their money back from me sooner or later. So the three of us were so buggered from the night before that we barely got through one DVD without falling asleep. I slept on the loungeroom floor that night. Scotty had gone out and didn't have a key, so I had to wait for him to buzz me from downstairs....
Well I woke up at about 11 the next morning and he still wasn't home, so I could have slept in my bed! The mattress on the floor was actually so confy that I pretty much laid there for the rest of the day watching telly and the other 2 DVDs. I kept drifting in and out of sleep all day, it was brilliant. Then last night I Ami decided to drive up to Tropfest. I was so tempted to go with her, but I had to go to Loz and Reido's little house warming dinner they had. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't not go. So I went. It was OK. then I came back here and Nads had come round again, so we hung out for a few hours just talking about shit and watching telly. It was nice. Brooksy had his first grade debut for Berry yesterday. He was so nervous beforehand. It was a trial match and he was put up to first grade full back to see how he'd go. They played Mittagong. And they lost, but Brooksy did score their only try, so I guess he went alright! Someone put a little grubber through and he broke through the line to clean it up and score. Very nice.
And now here I am. Just got home from netty as I said before. I'm about to watch Desperate Housewives that I taped while I was out. And I have to write on the rest of my invitations and post them out tomorrow.
I dare say I'll be asleep soon.
