Oh joyous week
Well, here I am thinking my week is gonna suck, and then it doesn't. Yesterday after work, I went clothes shopping. Bought a Led Zeppelin shirt, Guns N Roses shirt, Iron Maiden shirt, In Flames shirt, a shirt with a funny saying on it, a Fender shirt, a bottle of cologne, and some socks. Oh and some more bracelets cause my others broke and my wrists feel naked (though I still havent put them on). After shopping at the mall, I went to BJs to drop off my application, and then wound up staying with my dad and shopping. After that, we came back to bridgewater, and went to look at cars before we came home. I went to this dealer and he had a few cars I wanted to test drive. A 93 Grand Prix SE, a 94 Cutlass Supreme (same thing as Steph's mom's car i think), and then a 94 Buick Century. We looked around, then waited for the guy to come down to the lot. We started up the Grand Prix, and it was ok comfort wise. Some of the electronics inside needed fixing, and there was an oil leak under the hood. Forget that one, didn't even go for a test drive. Next was the Cutlass. It was comfortable, only 2 doors though. Took it for a test drive. There was some wobble in the breaks, and the rear end kept swaying, needed some work on the Independent Rear Suspension. It also looked like it had been in an accident, and it had been fixed. Don't really wanna get into a car like that. So, we went and looked at the Buick. It was comfortable, strong engine, very clean, only 102k miles. So, I put $80 down to hold it, and I will pick it up wednesday night. Score one for Chris. It's a lot like Mark's car. GM made the Cutlass and the Century similar. My car is pretty much Mark's car, except with buick stylings and mines a dark blue. Oh, and of course I don't have the ignition switch and the SPINNAZ YO! I'm fairly happy with the purchase. And to top it all off, my new amp comes in today. woot! I'm planning a trip to Guitar Center maybe next monday, cause they are having a huge huge sale. the LIST sale where they give you a list of special buys and crap at the door when you have a special letter that they send you. I need to find a footswitch for my new amp, and get some books. and if the price is right, maybe a hardshell case for my guitar. We'll see. School starts thursday! eek! And I work up until then. Its been crazy here. But luckily, I've got most of the stuff done, so I can relax a bit. I worked my ass off yesterday to get most of it done.
