Tomorrow I have to go down to SOC for a Bar Mitzvah class reunion. My old Hebrew school teacher located me and told me about it. I always got along really well with her and as such could not bring myself to refuse. So then tomorrow I get to see all the people from my Temple days of yore. SOme I haven't seen since HS graduation in 2000. Others I've not seen since Bar Mitzvah in 1994. I can't wait to see all the Doctors and Lawyers and successful writers or buisness people or whatever the fuck. Since I, at this point at least, bring nothing to the table I feel I should at least dress the part. I'm gonna wear my Bad Religion shirt with the cross buster on it, my torn jeans, my military jacket held together with safty pins and either a coal miners cap or my dirtbags cap. When everyone else talks about their jobs I'm going to talk about the Unique Beast (punk band we've started).
Then I'm going to show how I still know more about Judaism than anyone there except the Rabbi of course.
Fuck it dude, let's go bowling.
So yes, Unique Beast. Hopefully we'll have some songs and showdates up on Myspace soon. The band consists of myself playing rythem and lead guitars, Ben on bass, Jon as vocals and Jeff on drums. I fucking love playing punk.
