Sheer wonder
My God, I can't even begin to describe what may have been the best show ever.
Seeing a show is one thing. Seeing a band you know and like is another. Seeing one that is definetely in your top three is amazing. Having them play at a level surpassing all expectations is something akin to extasy.
When they took the stage the crowd went nuts. There was no lull, no working into it. They opened with I Want to Conquer the World and punk rock was ressurected.
At the encores I was at the rail, the crowd and me with them rolling to 21st Century Digital Boy, American Jesus and Sorrow.
Luke and Ben materialized out of the crowd during Generator and the three of us owned the pit.
Jon got his face bashed in so he was in the crowd with one hand covering his face with a dirty t-shirt and the other pumping in the air.
If Bad Religion is not one of your favorite bands than make them one and go see one of their shows. You have no excuse.
