I NEED SOMETHING NEW HELP!

My hair has been the same for almost a year now. I've never dyed it so I thought I might try a new color and maybe some different layers in the front and maybe some bangs? I don't know someone give me some advice or guidance or something! PLEASE!! Pictures would be helpful but just help really!
The pictures don't give that great of a view of my hair but still you hopefully get the idea.
I contrasted one picture and it looks like I dyed my hair and I thought I might do it that way
With black underneath and then a sorta sun burst read on top. And then in the back, black with sunburst red tips??
