Kuroshitsuji - 08
Wow! This anime is turning out to be darker and more gruesome than I expected, but still it's awesome! This episode is all about Alois, but don't worry it's a good episode. Episode 7 was a good episode as well, but I'd rather recap this one. At the end of episode 7 Ciel dealt a huge blow to Alois, badly injuring him.
Alois wakes up in a shock and orders Hannah to bring Claude, he only wants Claude to change his bandage. Claude changes his bandages and Alois is asking him if he wants to devour him and Claude replies with yes, but Claude smiles gently and Alois is in shock.
Alois attacks Hannah (the maid) and orders her to bring him to Ciel. He's badly bleeding and he remembers his past. A very cold sick past. He had a brother (not sure if from the same mother/father) and they lost their parents and for two kids to survive on the streets, they resorted to stealing. Jim (was Alois real name) wanted everyone who thought them vile and called them garbage to die and disappear for good. One night they saw a sea of dead bodies and they celebrated in grand (sick kids man) and went ahead to steal. He lost Luca and went to find him. He found him lying dead on the ground.
We later see him sitting in a truck full of other boys. They are heading to Trancy's household. A perverted old man who likes small boys (sick). The ones he discards are sent to a cell. He overhears a couple of boys talking about a fairy who can grant you a wish and he asks them how he can ask for a wish. We see him walking in a wood filled with spiderwebs and he chants "Hoheo taralna, rondero tarel" and he gets captured in a huge spiderweb and Claude emerges as his spider form. Jim (Alois) doesn't have any real wish yet and thus Claude tells him that when he finds one to call him again. With a new resolve he becomes the old man's toy and later we see him crying over his coffin with Claude in tow. Claude told Alois that it was Sebastian Michaelis that burnt down his village. He was acting under the order of his former master and now he's under Ciel Phantomhive's command. Alois wants Ciel to pay Sebastian back for the murder of his brother.
Hannah is driving the carriage when a tree falls in front of them, she manages to avoid the three, but crashes in another tree. Alois comes wide awake and sees Grelle. Grelle has come to take away his soul (oh yeah). Hannah comes and starts fighting with Grelle and Alois starts crawling away and is mortally bleeding.
He sits near a tree with a hungry wolf fast approaching him. Claude appears and kills the wolf. Alois tells Claude that he has only him that Claude is his highness and hugs his leg and orders him not to leave him. Claude holds Alois' face and we hear a cracking sound and blood starts pouring down. Claude takes of the ring and says: "Don't worry master. The menial soul that can give love to one who is only a butler cannot possibly simulate my appetite. I will always be by your side. There is a use for your soul."
Grelle appears and Claude asks him if he's going to steal the soul. Grelle tells Claude that if it doesn't affect his balance sheet, he can keep it, but he wants to watch. Claude asks him if he's Sebastian's ally and Grelle being Grelle goes on about his nonsense: "supreme love is always a battle to death." After the ED song we see Alois lying in blood shaped like a rose. Hannah crawls on top of Alois and she whispers to him that his wish is about to come true.
The preview for episode 9 has left me in shock!!!
