You consider thinking in english weird just because of the citizenship? I don't :D But then again I do have the same problem. Back when I was going to school my classmates used to tease me about my enormous love of the english language. They would ask me over and over again in which language I dream. Always had to answer I can't tell, because it's no real difference to me.

Cheers,
Mel

Your classmates too? One of my teachers asked me at one time, if I was in California for a while. He thought I had a Californian accent - THAT was funny. Because (sadly) I never was in the US.
Well I know for sure that I think in English. But dreaming? That is a real good question, because when I don't think about it I definitely do not realize when I'm thinking in English.

Yep, my classmates as well. I was never accused of any accent but my instructor at university was quite convinced I spent a year or so in Canada. She still thinks I did. Wouldn't believe me denying. But it came in pretty handy. I never had to attend her lessons if I had something better to do. I remember there was this Richie Sambora concert in Hamburg and to go there I had to skip a few of her lessons, so I went to her and just said: Well, Ms. B. I just wanted to inform you I probably won't make it to your lessons next week as I have to catch a train to Hamburg. So I'm afraid I don't have time for this. And she was just relaxed and nice: You'd be done with the tasks within 10 minutes anyways, so I don't mind. Just make sure to ask your mates what we did that day. It's not like you'd really need those lessons.

And I have to add: I had a helluva time at this concert ;P

Cheers,
Mel
