final elaboration

I graduated college, which is one of the proudest things I've ever done.

The odd thing is, Chris and I didn't know we had graduated or not when we went to the Natural Sciences ceremony. We knew we probably had graduated, but our raw grades in Operating Systems was a D, which isn't acceptable for a required course, and we had little feedback on how much of a curve there would be. Hours later, we found out we each got a B in the class; I had a 3.5+ for the semester and a 3.5+ overall for my work at UT. Go me! The past semester truly sucked, for there was another class in which I had a raw score of a D that was curved to an A. I was really sweating it, but I survived and kicked ass.

One would think I'd be finally over with school, but believe it or not, I'm actually taking a class at Austin Community College in databases, for my new job. It's actually pretty good, and it's a subject I've been interested in knowing more about.
