Mail Call
Eek, I fell asleep while taking a break from studying. Below is a post that never posted earlier:
Let's see...two envelopes for me. One is an ad for a cooking magazine book. The other is BMG Music with their salespitch. 1000 CD's for a penny.....and your soul!. I know better than to join this club. I did that once a LONG time ago with Columbia House. I had trouble picking out the free CD's from their list of crap.
One club I do recommend is Netflix. It's a DVD rental club through the mail. They mail me up to 4 DVD's at a time. I watch one, send it back, they send me another that's in my rental queue. I've got over 200 movies waiting to be sent to me. It's a good deal, and you can keep the movie as long as you want. I pay about $20/mo. for my plan (they have other levels). They recently added a gay and lesbian section. I guess they finally figured out we're good for business =).
Right now we have to watch Best In Show, and we still have Edge of Seventeen & Requiem For a Dream, which blew me away. Head On is on it's way.
BTW, does anyone know of a good DVD ripper; perhaps for free download?
