steven had a frustrating experience with a friend who called to tell him they'd be late after they were already late.
I've been waiting for a new tenant to sign a lease. They wanted me to meet them as early as possible after work, and I left earlier than normal to meet them at 6:00pm. At 7:05 I called them back and the lady said she was near her home and going to leave in 20 minutes, putting here here no earlier than 7:30. Um, fashionably late is one thing, but fuck I almost told her to reschedule for Saturday. I probably would have if I didn't already live in the same building. But I do want their rent money, ASAP, so I guess I have to put up with their rude bullshit.
In other ARGH news, the closing of my house has been put off by a few more days, as the gas isn't hooked up yet. And the builder was trying to rush me? Motherfucker bitchasses.
