vacation inspired
so apparently when I'm on vacation, I'm inspired to write... or rather have the time too. I will be shadowing a PA tomorrow morning for a few hours and next thursday morning for a few hours. This will give me an idea of what it is to work in a general physicians office. I don't know if this is the area I want to go into or a different specialty but anything will help me and so I'm very grateful for this opportunity. I just hope I don't appear nervous.
After hearing this news this morning I visited my old work, the vet. Wow I miss working there. That was the only job I never disliked going to. I dont always dislike my current job, or the previous one but there is something about the vet that makes me light up. But alas vet teching wont pay the bills forever (as in when I want more than renting) and veternary school is one of the most competitive schools to get into (as in my GPA wont do).
So lets see how the shadowing goes. Once I'm out of school and have a real job I can pay for my own animal to take care of and fill the animal love.
and now on a random note... I love doing dishes at home.. why you may ask.. well our dishwasher is super good so pre-rinsing or on our apartment pre-washing is not required (I'm not totally convinced it is in my apartment but sometimes we leave it for a day or two before running it so I do it anyways.) Second my parents care more about safety then cleaning so we put the knives and forks correctly, as in sharpside downward. Yeah if they are dirty when they come out we wash them again. Becasue yes folks facing them upward is very dangerous.. so yay I dont hafta double think and change what I do naturally.
