Suggestions
When putting chicken in the oven then going upstairs to "work on your paper" either
a) actually work on the paper and pay attention to the time
b) bring the timer upstiars with you and leave the door open to smell the food
I choose c) reading email and live journals for the passed 3 days, thinking I could finish them all before lunch was ready allowing my chicken to burn (not all of it just the little peices from the bottom of the bag).
and so i really know why ketchup was created, to combat the burnt flavor
