Quick update
Geez, I am so out of the loop over here on LJ.
Just posting to let everyone know that I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. I was one of the lucky people to be without electricty for a week due to the ice storm that ravaged Kentucky and Arkansas. The power finally came back on late Sunday evening but I still don't have cable or internet at the house. I'm using the computer at the county library at the moment. You wouldn't BELIEVE the lines for these things.
I finished my training at Teleflora and I've been working there all week. It's not too bad but I spend my day taking complaints, fixing orders, making phone calls, etc. So, if I don't answer someone's phone call immediately it's because I'm either working or I'm sick of being on the phone. But not to worry. I won't ignore you for too long.
I'm still looking for another job. TF is alright, but I definitely don't want to do it for a long time. I think I'm going to stick with it through Valentine's Day but I'm going to fight for something else once the season is over.
What else... Oh right. I've been coughing up my lungs all week. Two girls in my training group were sick with a cough and fever and aches but since they both are pregnant their doctors wouldn't give them any meds. Guess who sat next to one of the sickies? That would be me. I spent two full days in bed this week trying to get over this whole thing. Today I finally feel a better but I'm still wiped out.
Those of you who check this blog as well as my blog for "Nobody's Girl," don't worry. I SWEAR I will post another chapter ASAP. I would have posted one today but I woke up late and forgot to grab my flash drive.
OK, I only have 14 minutes left on the computer and I need to hit a few other sites. I'll post again soon, hopefully from my own computer. *fingers crossed*
