FMA Movie Review
So, let's see. Some of the big things that caught me were as follows:
1. The animation style is much nicer.
2. Hughes is a freaking Nazi *fume* (but I got the idea he was one of those ones that doesn't really believe in what he's doing, just following orders)
3. Envy is still a dragon in our world... why? >.>
4. Wrath and Hohenheim both bite the big one (or rather, are bitten by the big one *snicker*)
5. Gluttony is NASTY looking
6. Fuhrer Bradley is a good guy XD
7. Real-life Alphonse has tuberculosis (I think, he was coughing up a lot of blood before he got shot. And died.)
8. Ed's-world Alphonse has taken to dressing like his big brother (aww how cute XD) complete with black jacket with white bias, red jacket, and gloves. Oh, and he's wearing his hair in a ponytail now.
9. There's some psycho evil Nazi bitch trying to wage war on Eds'-world.
10. Roy has been demoted and is stationed off in some snowy area, but he shows up at the end to kick some SERIOUS ass.
11. Ed seems to have gotten a crush on some gypsy-type chick in our world.
12. You get to see anime Hitler. lol
13. Izumi-sensei has died sometime between the end of the series and the beginning of the movie *cry*
14. Ed and Al wind up staying in our world at the end. ; ; Poor Winry.
Overall, I really liked it. I can't wait for a subtitle file, although I kinda got the idea of what was going on. The only thing I really didn't get was why Ed decided to return to our world in the end... He has this big conversation with Roy and Al (all while on a crashing airplane, no less) where I guess he explains, but I couldn't make heads or tails of it. The cutest part was definately where Al kinda sends part of himself in a suit of armor to our world, to see if Ed is there. He jumps up out of a pile of other suits of armor and hugs Ed, going "Nii-san! Nii-san!" And Ed is laughing and blushing. It's so cute. XD I like it. I think it's a good ending to the series, even if a few bits were a taaaaaad unrealistic. But hey, if we wanted realism we'd be watching dosumentaries, not anime. Right? ~_^
