Updates
So here's what's been going on. (I -could- check my recent entries to see if I've done this yet, but whatever.)
Bob and I are living together, but we aren't dating. We have our own rooms, and we lucked out completely and found a duplex a couple streets from where we used to live. It wasn't a big move, but it took a day since it was just the two of us moving things from his 3rd floor apartment and my storage area a couple minutes down the road. Our friend showed up around dinner time and gave us the energy we needed to move the big pieces (Bob's bed, out futons, my monster of a dresser) and then Bob treated him to dinner.
So now we're moved into the duplex, with new carpeting and new vinyl windows. In true fashion, I'm worried about the gas bill, but we should be fine. Bob has lived with me long enough and known me long enough to know how to control my general freak-outs and calm me down. I -love- this place. It's so big... I don't think I've had this much room since my family lived in OP. And Bob and I get along really well, he doesn't get mad if I don't want to cuddle (and doesn't try to make me either which is big) but is always there to give me hugs. :) I've realized that I really missed giving out hugs and getting them, so I'm working on that...
For the record, I wanted Obama to win, and after hearing him speak last night I'm much less apprehensive about my choice. I'm excited, and I agree that the country is ready for a non-white president but not a woman president. And I am also happy McCain gracefully stepped down and seemed to generally -mean- his speech about supporting Obama. (No one supports McCain like Barack Obama lol.) I'm interested to see what Obama, and we as a country too, can accomplish. We need a president we can get behind as a nation again. He doesn't need to be squeaky clean all the time, but he needs to be someone we can... want to support. Good luck man.
I've also picked up WoW again, hoamrush (sp?) world, little gnome mage named Weeun. :) Feel free if any of you play, but I usually play with Bob and Ryan so just go with the flow. And -contribute- lol.
Desy called me from Ireland last night and I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't pick up. >_< Stupid trying to avoid calls I don't recognize. That's stopping right now again. I was so mad! I miss her a lot, I need a girl friend like that around again. Bob just can't do it (and I love him for that!) but she won't be moving back here most likely. Very sad. And I miss my puppy, he died around this time last year. We can't have pets in this place (unless we want to put an extra deposit equal to a month's rent for it, because of the new carpets). But we have neighborhood cats, and there's a nice one that lives on a porch during the day sometimes because the girls next door leave food outside and a little cathouse/bed. Which is just enough cat for me.
