Stupid People
I got a call today from a woman looking to make contact with one of my co-workers. She said she had called his voice mail through our office first, which forwards to his appointment line. She said she got a busy signal so she then looked up his appointment line in the phone book and still got a busy signal.
The rest of the conversation went something like this
Me: What phone number did you dial?
Woman: Your number
Me: When you called his number what number did you dial
Woman: YOUR number! (Like I was deaf or something)
Me: What specific numbers did you dial when you tried to reach him directly?
Woman: (gives out my office number, not co-workers number)
Me: What number did you dial after you looked up his phone number in the phone book?
She then finally proceeds to give me the phone number I was looking for and she had the correct phone number for his direct line. I then took a message and said I would try to reach him.
I called his appointment line first just to double check what the problem was.....it went right through.......*headdesk*
