YAY! I have friday off!! (and small knitting note)
So my supervisor forgot which friday we had switched so that I could go to my grandmothers next friday. I was supposed to have this friday off but since its the birthday camping trip, and the only friday I would have off while fourlegs was on break from college, I really needed to switch so I could go down to Florida. I figured Id switch this friday for next friday but she decided she wants the friday before her birthday off, in July, so I get this friday AND next friday off in exchange for working two fridays in a row in July. This means I am no longer working three fridays in a row this month whew!
I probably wont end up going any earlier to the camping trip, however. Im going to use this "extra" time to finish getting stuff out of the way of the furniture at the "old" apartment as my roomies are renting a Uhaul to move all the big stuff this weekend (while I'm gone).
This actually takes A LOT of stress off of me to have this extra day. I think most people are not showing up until after 5pm anyway. Anyone other than melissanmn and 2syn planning on being in Unicoi before 5pm on Friday? I will still aim for heading out about 3pmish but have a good chunk of time to finish up my goals now.
Small Knitting Note: The sock is still just a foot. everytime I think Im almost at the heel making stage I try it on and realize I still have an inch. Its like the never ending inch. But I have my pattern printed out to take on the camping trip, so hopefully I will make some progress on it.
