Is it me or the editing feture is also now weird?Like there's a lilliputian window and you can't actually see what it is yu're editing.

They are sorting it by breaking it more XD Do they even beta test it?

Well, given that I vaguely know who these people are, my money is on no, they don't. Alternately, they probably consider us beta testers, launch their stuff first and see if there's too much cmplaining later.

Like, I opted out of cyrillic services, which is a shame because they had this nice option of paying for v-gifts via sms. But they introduced that stupid news line that you can't (!!!) turn off. Also, remember that debacle with exposing lj-posts to twitter, facebook, etc, including f-locked posts? That was because not too many people in Russia use FB and twitter (comparatively) and it didn't occur (!!!) to the developers that such a reaction would follow. These people don't think. Period.

It's incredibly frustrating.

I know how to use html, bb, thanks though. But with the last post, even switching to html, it took me about 5 times to get it to do what I wanted, and it still wasn't quite what I wanted. Let alone that rich text allows a lot of shortcuts, which come in handy when you're posting stuff like, I dunno, big bang? So yeah, I'm frustrated.

Yeah no, I know, I'm just saying they'd better fix it soon. Otherwise it'll be all forgotten tags all over the place, and that's so annoying...

Of what I heard, you can cross-post from dreamwidth and it doesn't fuck up formatting, but then you can't really work woth usernames :/ Or just plain, raw html, no extra break lines or spaces, just one long line of text. But then again, posting is relatively easy, editong is shit :/

The thing is, I don't want to move. My home is here. It took me a long time to make it all lived in and cosy. But if I have to code 50k in html with paragraphs and italics and all, I'll probably go nuts... /x__X\

I wasn't talking about moving there- it's just cross-posting and editing in DW works nicely and when posted from DW, LJ keeps all the nice HTML coding, so you might use DW as a posting client until they sort the text editor out.

I know you weren't talking about that, I'm just saying. And yes, I'll have to figure something out. Maybe use AO3 full time, even though I still view it mostly as an archive, not a place to talk to people.
