A Pike/Spock rec
To all fans of the pairing, I highly recommend C'Thia by medie . It features always-a-girl!Spock, but, although I'm not normally big on genderswap, this was truly touching and fascinating, the slow breakdown of Chris's feelings, and Spock being decidedly female but still very Spock. It's a beautiful romance, with an almost TOS feel to it, only more graceful. Aside from the protagonists, it includes beautiful portrayals of Number One, Phil Boyce, Amanda, T'Pau and others.
Wonderful Chris Pike voice. I'm in awe of how carefully the very approach to his relationship with Spock was handled and how artfully her being different from everyone else was painted.
Also, the story will give you a feel of Vulcan like I've never seen before. Deep, original, and much more consistent than anywhere else. It's beautiful.
