Really? I've never heard that one before. I usually get something like pale blue from people who know me IRL... *ponders the possible differences between IRL and online personas*

And here your intuition is dead on. As early as Philosopher's Stone, I identified with her so hard in the books because I very nearly was her, as far as personality goes. A bookworm had taken literary centre stage-- I was thrilled! Until three months ago, I even had the hair to match, long and untameably bushy brown (by coincidence, not design).

"What's your favorite time of the year and why?"
Early autumn. But not this crappy autumn I'm having right now, constantly wet and windy and sodden. A good autumn, with bright cold sunlight and fallen yellow leaves crackling on the sidewalks underfoot, releasing their dried-chlorophyll smell into crisp air already full of the warm must of decaying plants and bared earth. And no snow until at least two weeks before Hallowe'en. Like that, weather gods, kthnx.

My journal is mostly for fic, with very few exceptions that usually are at least halfway related to fic. I'm considering making a second journal for talking and memes and stuff, but I think I wouldn't be able to keep it up regularly and almost nobody would be interested, anyway. "Blah blah my one birthday present was a new desk chair with the most kickass lumbar support in the world to replace the old one that was within two inches of dumping me on the floor as it died a painful death" etc. ;)

re: colors. I don't know how you look, what you like to eat, what your favorite color is. I know you through your writing, and in my view, flame is a suitable association for what I read. ;)

re: Hermione. I always liked her best of all the characters. I would never understand the whole Hermione/Ron thing, but then, nobody's perfect. ;)
