Actually, ironic as it is, I'm planning to touch upon some or all of these questions, but not within part three. Particularly the matter of T'Pring and the Vulcan children. Whadda ya know, great minds think alike. ;) :DD

LOL! I'm in love with this comment. :D Thank you so much, I'm happy it had such an impact. I dunno, to me, it was all pretty logical. After watching the movie for the first time, I couldn't help but ask some of those questions. All the more weird and out of the blue Jim's promotion seemed. I had to deal with it, I'm an author. ;)

Yeah, Spock never is full of himself. Well, some understatement here, obviously, but still. I'm pretty sure he would take something as this in stride, given his background and what not. Oh dear. This is going to be tough. *sighs*

Thanks for reading!

LOL. I obviously have a more cynical view of this world and, well, that one. ;) Because till this day it stumps me that Jim was promoted from cadet to captain. Because the movie can also be retold like this: Jim conected the dots at first (the Enterprise went out of warp exactly where it would have done anyway) -- was stubborn later -- got instructions re: what to do next -- was an ass to fulfill those instructions -- hallelujah! He was good in action, true. Does that justify giving him a ship when he has zero experience? I don't know of any kind of fleet where it would be, but hey, 'it's a movie.' I might be a nerd, but I'm an old Star Trek fan, and Star Trek has always been more -- forgive me -- logical and realistic than this. Well. New day, new heroes ( ... )
